Lýdia Pribišová

Lýdia Pribišová has been the editor-in-chief of Flash Art magazine since 2015. She is the curator of the Slovak Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale with the project Floating Arboretum by Oto Hudec and works as a curator at the Ján Koniarek Gallery in Trnava. Between 2020 and 2024, she was a curator at Kunsthalle Bratislava, and during the same period, she served as president of the Slovak section of AICA. From 2013 to 2015, she worked as a project coordinator at tranzit.sk, where she also realized several curatorial projects. In 2012, she founded the civic association PILOT. In 2019, she was one of the curators of the Kaunas Biennial in Lithuania. She earned her PhD from La Sapienza University in Rome in 2013. Her interests include the boundaries of art, participatory projects, and ecological topics. In 2022–2023, she curated the program A Plant at Kunsthalle Bratislava, which included a series of public space interventions in Bratislava addressing issues related to urban greenery.
