Dáša Oršuliaková
She studied Aesthetics at the Faculty of Arts, Comenius University, followed by History and Practice of Contemporary Art at the Department of Theory and History of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VŠVU) in Bratislava.
Her research focuses on the visual culture of totalitarian regimes (particularly Nazi-aligned Slovakia) and the interdisciplinary intersections between the theory and practice of art and culture, philosophy, and bioethics. She is also involved in art criticism (Flash Art, Artalk) and curatorial practice, and is a co-founder and team member of the independent cultural space Rare Cultural Space.
During my stay at EKAiR, I plan to focus on analogue photography, reading, and developing new ideas and perspectives for my theoretical practice.
