Gabriel Hošovský
Gabriel Hošovský is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. In the 1980s, he focused primarily on painting and sculpture. He is a founding member of the art group Syzýgia, established on 18 January 1988. In 2008, he published a book about the artistic and social scene surrounding Syzýgia, Syzýgia 1988–2008: Contexts, Facts, Stories. Since 2007, he has worked with video, photography, text, and painting. At the same time, he began exploring artistic interventions in public space, as well as the creation of collections and his own publishing projects. He lives and works in Bratislava.
During my EKAiR residency, I plan to approach and reinterpret the volume of the house beyond conventional practices, while also attempting to document local experiences.
