Eja Devečková
Eja Devečková is a visual artist and educator based in Prague. In her current artistic practice, she works with drawing, paper collage, performance, and participatory and collaborative formats. Her projects explore themes of embodiment and beauty, the forms and limits of emotionality, parenthood, and care. She also focuses on gender stereotypes, modes of interpersonal communication, and their reinterpretation.
Eja Devečková will share her residency with Jarmila Mitríková, and their children.

Our shared residency is conceived as a collective experience of everyday life. Between morning dew underfoot, the warmth of the fire, and the gentle passage of days, a collage of shared moments will emerge. Through drawings, journals, conversations, and walks, we will create a story about closeness, childhood, and the extraordinary nature of ordinary things.
